Doorak
A mobile card game that began as a small exercise in shipping an app, grew into a project of its own, and is now approaching closed testing.
Doorak began as a relatively small practical project: a way to experience the full process of building a mobile application, preparing a store listing and release build, and publishing it.
The work gradually outgrew that original idea. It is now a functioning throw-in and transfer Durak game with its own rules engine, reproducible matches, eight AI characters with different playing styles, local history, and local-network games for 2–6 participants. Players can join a room using a QR code, and the interface is available in Russian and English.
The project is approaching its first closed testing stage. The main game loop is working; the remaining preparation includes final release checks, real-device testing, a feedback channel, and store materials before the build is handed to external testers.
It may ultimately become something larger than an exercise in publishing a first application. For now, the useful next step is to bring it calmly into testing, learn how it feels outside the development process, and decide what it should become after that.
Doorak follows a local-first approach: settings, profile data, history, and replays remain on the device by default. The current Privacy Policy is published as a separate project document below.
